My Definition of fitness has been upturned since beginning at CCFG 3 years ago. Growing up playing soccer (always the smallest in my team) and cross country running I was rarely asked to display any aspects of strength
I love food. Really thats the simple truth of how I got so big. I was eating all the wrong foods, lots of maccas, chocolate and pretty much only drank diet coke. I did not exercise at all, I was never the sporty kid, I avoided all sports carnivals where possible.
I started training at CrossFit Feel Good in August of 2014 and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only have I lost 25 kg, but I have become stronger and even more importantly and all round better person.
I decided to take up CrossFit because I lost motivation training on my own and I was lacking inspiration in a mainstream gym. I’ve now been doing CrossFit for 9 months and I’m the strongest and fittest I have ever been in my life.
As a Mum of two small kids and always finding excuses for not exercising I finally bit the bullet and tried CrossFit. I committed myself to train at least 3 days a week and the results that I have got have been amazing.
I have been training under the guidance of Ben for just over a year. In that time, my levels of strength, agility and aerobic fitness have improved to the levels that have surpassed all expectations I had for myself. At 34, I am far fitter and stronger than at any other time.
I have been training with Ben for 8 months. I so look forward to Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. I am 56 years old and I am amazing myself at what I can now do. Thank you Ben for your encouragement you are a wonderful coach.
After having Greave Disease which broke down my muscle tone and then breaking my elbow I needed to do something to get my strength and stamina back. I tried pilates for a few months enjoyable but not getting the results I wanted.
When my wife (60 years old) started to go to CrossFit Feel Good I thought she’d last a week or so. 8 months later, she is now going twice a week and loving it. Hearing her rave on about how much fun she was having at the gym and the new friends she’s made.
